Communications Project Specialist - Domestic Media
Marketing/Communications Division

The Communications Project Specialist – Domestic Media - is responsible for supporting the execution of the communications and media relations tactics for the Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau (Dallas CVB) in partnership with the Communications department team members to publicize Dallas as one of the country's top travel destinations to domestic media. This position plays a key role in fostering awareness of the Dallas brand, new city developments by encouraging media to cover the city in both trade and consumer outlets as a major visitor and meeting destination through verbal and written communication with media; targeted Dallas-hosted media familiarization trips; and strong relationships with industry partners, local venues and others in the Dallas community. It also provides support for the external PR agencies' print, broadcast, online and social media metric documentation that contributes to departmental goals and is an indicator of bureau success.

Director of Community Engagement
Marketing/Communications Division

The Director of Community Engagement will be responsible for developing community relationships with representatives in local and state governments and elected officials, chambers of commerce, civic and community based organizations, hotel and hospitality industry leaders, the Board of Directors and other stakeholders to educate and inform these groups on the economic development benefits of tourism. This position will coordinate with Executive Management Team for the day-to-day oversight, implementation and management of the organization's goals associated with these efforts.
