Marketing/Communications Division

The Communications/Marketing internship is designed to provide students with invaluable experience within VisitDallas through assisting with special projects directly related to marketing Dallas as a destination, increasing and tracking media coverage of the destination and assisting with social media and special events. The Communications and Marketing department at VisitDallas is undergoing exciting ventures. This internship will provide a unique opportunity to be involved in exciting projects, such as a re-branding of Dallas and new social media initiatives, among many others.

Director of Marketing & Digital
Marketing/Communications Division

The Director of Marketing & Digital is charged with developing and managing marketing projects and day-to-day tasks that enhance the image of VisitDallas with the goal of increasing visitor traffic, tourism spending, and grow awareness of Dallas as a destination for meetings and conventions. Marketing efforts include, but are not limited to, the development, supervision, and timely coordination of an annual strategic plan for marketing; development of high-level concepts for design projects for internal and external clients; and recruiting and managing third party design firms as well as internal design resources. This person will also oversee VisitDallas's digital suite of products: websites, microsites, mobile website, email marketing, social media and SEO/SEM strategy.

Digital Manager

The Digital Manager is an integral member of the Marketing/Communications team, which is tasked with igniting global passion for visiting Dallas and increasing the economic impact of tourism throughout the region. The Digital Manager executes industry-leading online tourism marketing strategies across all digital platforms to ensure Dallas' online presence generates incremental travel to Dallas.
