Approximately 120,000 GLBT people live in Dallas. The influence and prevalence of the culture is a vital aspect of the city's diverse makeup.
Dallas' boasts the largest gay and lesbian church in the world. The Oak Lawn neighborhood is one of few nationally recognized gay neighborhoods, featuring nightlife, restaurants, retail, shopping, hotels and residential living - all right in the heart of Dallas.
With a world-class gay men's chorus, multiple theatre companies, a Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and countless charity events, the GLBT Dallas offers opportunities for education, entertainment and celebration.
