- Can the Dallas CVB assist journalists with Dallas story ideas, research or relevant site visit information? Yes, the Public Relations Department would like each journalist to have the most up-to-date and accurate information possible about the city. By submitting a request, media can quickly communicate to gain the information they need.

- Can the Dallas CVB plan an itinerary for a Dallas media visit? Yes, if qualified journalists on assignment to Dallas need assistance planning their visit, the Public Relations Department can work with him/her to provide an itinerary, accommodations, interviews and/or site visits. Journalists must complete the request form, and the Dallas CVB will work with partners across the city to provide an informative, enjoyable and comfortable visit.

- Does the Dallas CVB provide transportation to journalists? Due to liability reasons, the Dallas CVB cannot provide rental cars to individual journalists. To request transportation arrangements in conjunction with a Dallas media visit and itinerary, please complete the media request form. Additionally, Dallas offers Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), an extensive network of DART Rail, Trinity Railway Express (TRE) and bus services connecting 700-square-miles of service area. - How much notice does the Dallas CVB request from a journalist coming to Dallas on assignment? In order to make arrangements with partners, the Public Relations Department requests four weeks notice from incoming journalists. However, understanding that the media is a fast-paced environment and the complexity of their visits may differ, the Dallas CVB encourages all journalists to submit a request form and the PR Department will accommodate as best as possible.

- Where can media access Dallas videos and non-copyrighted images? Journalists can login to the Dallas Image Gallery to search for Dallas videos and high-resolution, print-ready images.

- Is the Dallas Press Kit available online? Yes, journalists may download or view the press kit online. For additional information about the city, please contact the Public Relations Department (insert the URL for the info request form where it says Public Relations Department).

- Where can journalists find current Dallas news and events? The Dallas website features the latest information about the city. See what’s happening: Dallas News.

- How can journalists be added to the Dallas CVB distribution list to receive future Dallas press releases and e-blasts? Media can stay in touch with Dallas, by requesting press releases and future e-blasts. Call 214-571-1086 with your contact information and publication details, and you will be added to the distribution list.
