As the Dallas Museum of Art prepares to welcome "Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs," an exhibition organized by National Geographic, Arts and Exhibitions International and AEG Exhibitions, with cooperation from the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities, to the Dallas Arts District next year, visitors will find the area coming into its own. More than $12 billion in developments have sparked a dramatic urban renewal in the downtown area, providing endless culture and entertainment for visitors who want to live large.
Dallas Named Host of 2008 USA Junior Olympic Girls' Volleyball Championships

Located in the heart of the city's downtown, the Dallas Convention Center will play host to the 2008 USA Junior Olympic Girls' Volleyball Championships held June 26 to July 5, USA Volleyball announced today. Adam's Mark Hotel will serve as the headquarters for the event.
