The 14th annual title game is scheduled for Saturday, December 5 and will be nationally-televised by ABC Sports at 7 p.m. (CST). It will also be broadcast by XM Satellite Radio. The Dr Pepper Big 12 Championship will be played in North Texas for the second time as the 2001 game was held in Texas Stadium. The North representative will be the home team this year and utilize the sideline on the press box side of the field.
