Enjoy a night of ice and fire with the latest installment of the DMA's popular Off the Wall series, an evening of events that let you see the DMA in a new way. This time around, the night is all about their new exhibition Art and Nature in the Middle Ages and Game of Thrones and everything that makes it a must-see show and can't-put-down book. Dare to go beyond the walls of the DMA to watch an ice carving master make the coolest sculpture you have ever seen and then white walk your way through the galleries before cozying up in the Atrium. Take a long sip of a Kingslayer cocktail before testing your knowledge of legendary worlds, kings, queens, and dragons with Geeks Who Drink. Remember, there is no middle ground, so come prepared the play the game!
Have you ever wondered if you're a Cersei, Daenerys, Jon, or Tyrion? Take a personality quiz to find out! (Sorry to say we can't all be Tyrion, folks.) End your evening by scavenging the collection for killings even more ghastly than the Red Wedding or exploring "Art and Nature in the Middle Ages." Hear this, you will not YGRITTES coming to DMA Off the Wall!
Warning: Side effects of DMA Off the Wall participant's may include sudden fascination with dragons, an insatiable lust for power, an urgency to know your familial ancestry, and a really awesome accent.
Off the Wall – Winter is Coming is December 8 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Tickets $10 (some exhibitions require an additional ticket), FREE for DMA Members
Happy Hour drink specials will feature $4 draught beer and glasses of wine.
