12 Days of Christmas Exhibit
Make your holiday trip to the Dallas Arboretum to see the 12 Days of Christmas exhibit that transforms the gardens into a holiday wonderland. The exhibit features 12 elaborate 25-foot-tall Victorian gazebos filled with the charming costumed characters, whimsical animals and winter scenes made famous by the beloved Christmas carol. See the stunningly decorated gardens daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., or visit after hours from 6 -9 p.m., Wednesdays – Sundays for the 12 Days of Christmas at Night, to see the illuminated gazebos, with 500,000 lights throughout the garden.
The Claus Collection Santa Exhibit
Be dazzled by the historic DeGolyer House and its magnificent holiday decorations, while you experience the new Claus Collection Santa Exhibit. See the many artistic representations of 500 Santas on display, surrounded by beautiful decorations throughout the house. The DeGolyer House is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Wednesday evenings from 6-9 p.m. Guests can also stay for dinner at Restaurant DeGolyer for reservation-only Wednesday evenings as well.
After exploring The Claus Collection, see the real Saint Nick for yourself! Grab your camera and stop for free photos with Santa every Saturday and Sunday now through Dec. 18 from 12 – 4p.m.
Holiday Themed After-Hours Classes
Enjoy a plethora of evening activities and classes to get you in the holiday spirit. Enjoy activities like holiday photography lessons, wine and vodka tastings, fused art glass classes and various holiday gift crafts.
Take advantage of the discount days! Buy one, get one free admission is Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Dec. 9 – 28 and is valid for general garden admission only. Also, C.C. Young Senior Thursdays are $11 for day or evening for those 65 and older, along with a 20 percent discount at the Hoffman Family Gift Shop.
