It's a big weekend of sports in Dallas. With the Cowboys taking on the Redskins on Thanksgiving Day, and Baylor vs. Texas Tech for the Texas Shootout, what could be better? A visit to the DMA, of course! Whether you are coming into town for the big game or faithfully cheering from your living room, make a museum visit part of your weekend festivities.
The Dallas Museum of Art will have its first Sports CATacular Nov. 25-27. Cheer on your favorite team, and wear your Cowboys, Redskins, Baylor or Texas Tech gear for $5 off admission to the Divine Felines: Cats of Ancient Egypt exhibit. The exhibit features cats and lions in ancient Egyptian mythology, kingship, and everyday life through diverse representations. There are more than 80 objects exploring wild and domestic cats, feline deities, cat burial practices and luxury items decorated with feline features, as well as a small section on dogs. After exploring the felines, see the rest of the galleries for FREE!
Whether your team wins or loses, celebrate the spirit of Thanksgiving by spending time with family and friends at the Museum. Now, is it time for kickoff?
