Mark your calendar and go Off the Wall at the DMA's new Thursday night program
Posted on Nov 8, 2016
Need a new date night idea? Head to the Dallas Museum of Art this Thursday for Gogh Your Own Way and leave with a different perspective on the artist behind The Starry Night. Sip a Starry Night cocktail during this Vincent van Gogh-themed event, take an unexpected look at the Museum's collection with a pop culture twist. Indulge in some creative fun getting crafty recreating his Sheaves of Wheat painting using pom-poms made of yarn with Shabby Sheep, generate your personal band name based on works of art in the DMA collection, and so much more.
A night at the DMA in the Dallas Arts District isn't quite complete without an awesome menu and live music, so don't forget to try the van Gogh inspired fare and dreamy drinks while you rock all night with covers by Rockestra and take in a can-can performance by the lively Danielle Georgiou Dance Group. What are you waiting for? Off the Wall is another BIG reason to make a monthly stop at the DMA!
Gogh Your Own Way is Thursday, November 10, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $10, although some special exhibitions may require an additional ticket.
If you can't make it this time, no worries! Off the Wall will make another appearance next month with Winter is Coming… a Game of Thrones themed evening full of dashing delights.
