1. You can make it a family outing.

Spring in Dallas is a wonderful time, and Easter in Lee Park is the perfect excuse to head out and enjoy the sun. Bring a picnic basket and blanket to relax on the grass and enjoy live music from The Gypsy Playboys. The kids can join in on the fun with the Easter egg hunt and get a family photo taken with the Easter bunny. And you don't have to go far for lunch – food trucks will be making a stop for the day, making a picnic with the family easy.

2. The Celebrity Hosts

LeeAnne Locken, best known for her appearance on the Real Housewives of Dallas, is this year's emcee. She'll be joined by lifestyle guru Steve Kemble, and both will bring some fun energy to the afternoon of activities.

3. The Pooch Parade is the best part.

Bring your pup dressed in their Easter best! The pooch parade is a highlight each year and prizes are awarded in several categories. Whether you're looking to take the top prize in Best Spring Costume or Best Group, it's a fun way to show off your pup's style – just make sure to register before April 13.
