Kennedy left a lasting impression on our nation. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, located in Downtown Dallas, will join in a national celebration of Kennedy's centennial year with a thoughtful and moving evening event this month. The museum, visited by thousands every year, is a must-see during any visit to Dallas.
On May 16, the Sixth Floor Museum will host a special event to discuss JFK: A Vision for America, a book written by CNN Presidential Historian Douglas Brinkley and Stephen Kennedy Smith, Kennedy's nephew. Both will be in attendance to mingle with guests after the program.
The program will include an in depth discussion of the book that highlights Kennedy's greatest speeches and hand-written notes, as well as hundreds of rarely seen photos and commentary by top historians, political leaders and distinguished writers and artists.
The event kicks off at 6 p.m., with an opening reception with hors d'oeuvres and drinks, followed by the program and a book signing. Get your tickets here!
