President George W. Bush has dedicated much of his post-presidency to honoring our nation's post - 9/11 veterans and helping them make a smooth transition to civilian life, including addressing the invisible wounds of war. Through the Bush Institute's Military Service Initiative, President Bush has assembled a special group of wounded warriors that are especially close to his heart, Team 43. President Bush has combined his appreciation for our veterans with his favorite hobby – painting. Join us as we feature works in his new book Portraits of Courage, alongside some of the subjects of his paintings, members of Team 43. Tickets include special after-hours entry in the new special exhibit, Portraits of Courage, featuring a collection of oil paintings and stories by President George W. Bush.
