Starting on the second Wednesday in March to May and every Wednesday in June, the Dallas Heritage Village presents Barnyard Buddies Story Time from 11am to noon. Children will read a story and learn about the historic village. The venue is located downtown near the Caesar Chavez and I-30 intersection. The story time's for each date are as follows: March 8: "The Keeping Quilt" by Patricia Polacco; craft - creating small quilts April 12: "Chugga Chugga Choo Choo" by Kevin Lewis; craft - making freight trains with egg cartons May 10: "Sheep in a Jeep" by Nancy E. Shaw, June 7: "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle; craft - making caterpillars with balloons and paint June 14: "From Heat to Toe" by Eric Carle June 21: "Secret Birthday Message" by Eric Carle; making secret messages with shapes from around the Village June 28: "What's for Lunch?" by Eric Carle.
