Description

Acquired in December 2013, the DMA announced their huge collection of exceptional silver virtue owned by the Wittgenstein family that was designed by Carl Otto Czeschka of Vienna workshops. The exhibit holds pieces that are over 5 feet tall and are made of solid silver with enamel, pearls, opals, moonstones, and other semiprecious stones around it. It is one of the most important objects of the 20th century.
