FIRST DAY - GALLERIA

Start your Dallas shopping experience at Galleria Dallas. A recent redevelopment has transformed this legendary shopping hotspot into one of the most dynamic shopping environments in North Texas. Home to a host of international collection of shops and boutiques, Galleria Dallas offers a world-famous ice skating center surrounded by a fusion of fashion and food. THIRD DAY - WEST END, ALLEN PREMIUM OUTLETS & THE SHOPS AT LEGACY

If you enjoyed the sculptures at NorthPark, then you have to visit the Nasher Sculpture Center, one of the few institutions in the world devoted to the exhibition, study and preservation of modern sculpture. Designed by architect Renzo Piano, the center provides an urban oasis of art and nature and features the art collection of philanthropist and collector Ray Nasher and his wife, Patsy.  Considered one of the foremost collections, private or public, of 20th-Century sculpture in the world, the center is comprised of more than 300 pieces and features works by Calder, de Kooning, Kelly, Matisse, Miro, Picasso, Rodin and Serra, among many others. A two-acre sculpture garden created by landscape architect Peter Walker,  is also part of the center and features settings that frame the outdoor works which include stone walls, walkways, ponds, scattered groves of trees and small meadow areas. Families will enjoy letting their children explore the incredible garden.

Be sure to head over to the West End Historic District where you can do some souvenir shopping and get a bite to eat without breaking the bank.  Start your visit at Wild Bill's Western Store for some truly Texas souvenirs or buy yourself some custom made cowboy boots. The West End not only offers retail shops, but several budget friendly dining options to choose from too.  Spaghetti Warehouse, a family favorite will not let you down in service, taste or atmosphere. Sonny Bryan's,
the most famous barbecue joint in Dallas, will cater to those fans of brisket, rib and Texas style BBQ. From Allen Premium Outlets, 15 minutes west in Plano will take you to The Shops at Legacy.  Enjoy fine dining, avant-garde entertainment, quality services and haute couture apparel all in a cool setting.  A great dinner option while at Legacy is the Fox Sports Grill, offering a dynamic social atmosphere where guests can enjoy contemporary American cuisine complemented by premiere sports and entertainment viewing.

FOURTH DAY - JUST FUN!

If you want to see something unbelievable and fun, you can start at the Louis Tussaud's Palace of Wax and Ripley's Believe It Or Not, just 15 minutes west of Downtown Dallas. The Palace of Wax features movie stars and historical figures in life-like detail. Explore the beautiful, the fascinating and the most bizarre oddities collected by famed cartoonist Robert Ripley during his world travels. After a few days of shopping, family fun is needed and the perfect place for this is Six Flags Over Texas! There are now more reasons than ever before to visit the park. FIFTH DAY - GRAPEVINE MILLS

No one can leave Dallas without visiting the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. The former Texas School Book Depository provides a comprehensive exhibit on the life, death and legacy of President John F. Kennedy, with a 45 minute audio guide in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish.  A kid-friendly version of the guide is also available in English. After your stroll through the museum, get some fresh air and visit one of the most amazing aquariums in the United States, the Dallas World Aquarium!  Explore the newly expanded Mundo Maya exhibit, the rainforest and the mammoth aquarium that features 80,000 gallons of saltwater exhibits, including sharks!  The aquarium also offers a gift shop, restaurant and cafe, just in case you are hungry!  Visit www.dwazoo.com.

And if you are ready for more action, check the Dallas Cowboys' schedule for a tour of America's favorite football team at Texas Stadium.  The Dallas Cowboys Football Club is one of the most visible and successful sports entities in the world. It is almost time to leave the city. If you are flying out from DFW International Airport there is not a better place for last-minute shopping than Grapevine Mills.  Featuring a tremendous shopping selection with guaranteed savings, the mall offers 200 of the best in retailer names. You are encouraged to visit www.grapevinemills.com for a list of stores and restaurants to visit!  While there, let the kids have some fun at Gameworks, one of the best interactive games attractions in the world! Visit www.gameworks.com. Another fantastic option for the family is the Rainforest Café, where you don't have too travel far in order to dine in a tropical rainforest setting. The menu includes seafood, beef, chicken, pastas, sandwiches, pizza and more. Younger guests can enjoy items from the exciting new kids' menu.

As your trip comes to an end (international travelers), don't forget to apply for the return of your taxes at the Tax Free booth located inside terminal D at DFW International Airport.  Also check out the artwork that is showcased throughout terminal D and if you still want to shop, there are great stores inside the terminal.
