A state-of-the-art facility known internationally as an outstanding rehearsal production center, the Rehearsal Halls for the Dallas Opera Center feature raised hardwood floors, are individually climate controlled and acoustically sounded to perfection. This 69,000 square foot facility, which opened in 1998, is one of the premier facilities of its type in the world. The Staging Rehearsal Hall is 88' x 52.6', the Dance Staging Hall is 57' x 41', and the Orchestra Rehearsal Hall is 56.6' x 53'. The facility also houses showers, large restrooms, telephones and 300 parking spaces. The Dallas Opera Rehearsal Center is located near downtown Dallas, just outside of Fair Park near The Smirnoff Center, at 4301 South Fitzhugh Avenue.
