The State Fair of Texas runs for 24 days. With more than 70 rides-- including the 212 foot Texas Star Ferris Wheel, and a parade through the park every night.

The Arboretum also is partnering with the State Fair of Texas to offer a combination ticket dubbed the Dallas Fall Garden Getaway. The ticket enables visitors to take in both venues for $18. The Fall Garden Getaway ticket will be sold online at www.bigtex.com and at the Arboretum's admission gate.

The Arboretum is located at 8525 Garland Road on the southeast shore of White Rock Lake in East Dallas. The Arboretum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
