Come explore your artsy side with us! The Dallas arts scene is alive and kicking with dance, theater, live music and visual arts to experience. The recent opening of the AT&T Performing Arts Center helped to galvanize the already thriving Dallas arts scene and put everything right at your fingertips.

Get Some Culture

No matter what time of year it is, everyone needs a little culture in their life.

If you want

... and have half a day

... one day

... two or more days

... a little culture

As the saying goes, “Everything is bigger in Texas,” and we think the Meadows Museum has one of the more impressive claims to fame: “the largest collection of Spanish art outside of Spain.” The gorgeous museum is located on the campus of Southern Methodist University in the heart of Highland Park, so while you’re there, make sure to wander around the campus and pretend you’re a student for the day.

The Dallas Wind Symphony is back with their 25th season this year and it might just be their best season yet. Playing everything from George Gershwin to their annual Star-Spangled Spectacular, this might just be the year to check out this talented (and very entertaining) group of musicians.

In the past Dallas’ art galleries were spread throughout the city, making "gallery-hopping" a hobby better left to New Yorkers, but now, art lovers rejoice! The Dallas Design District has become exactly that; a collection of not only designer studios and shops, but also the unofficial (or is it official yet?) home to Dallas’ top art galleries. Download a map on www.dallasartdealers.org, and plan your visit to see some pretty awesome art from both local and internationally known artists.
