Savor Dallas Announces 'Shaken + Stirred' on December 2 at The Statler

Festival's Popular Mixology Party Returns This Fall - With a Twist!

November 6, 2017 – DALLAS | The search for Dallas' Official Cocktail of 2018 is on! Back by popular demand, Savor Dallas' spirited festival event, "Shaken + Stirred," makes its fall debut on Dec. 2 (7-10pm) at The Statler with an all-new experience - and a retro-forward party like no other, suiting its swank surroundings.

Presented by VISIT DALLAS, the mixology showdown is the first of its kind in the market. Seven bartender finalists, selected via a blind tasting from a pool of submissions, will sling their best drinks at the event in hopes of winning the vote from a curated panel of judges that includes local mixology and culinary masters and other industry leaders.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample each of the seven innovative, inspired cocktails - and cast a vote for their favorite, too. The event also promises innovative culinary creations to "wash" down those drinks, with The Statler chefs Graham Dodds and Angela Hernandez serving up a sneak preview of the goods from the hotel's collection of restaurants including Overeasy, Scout, and Fine China.

Judges include: Chef Graham Dodds (The Statler); Màtè Hartai (master mixologist); Kyle Hilla (Beverage Director, The Statler); Matthew A. Jones, CTA (CFO/COO, Dallas Convention & Visitors Bureau); Brian McCullough (co- founder, The Standard Pour); Eric Tecosky (national brand ambassador, Jack Daniel's and founder/owner, Dirty Sue Premium Olive Juice); and Tiffany Tran (Founder, Nerdy Drinker).

In addition, the evening will feature live entertainment from Hunter Sullivan and his band to complete the retro- mod mood.
