Spend the Holidays at These Dallas CityPASS Attractions
Have a holly jolly adventure in the city.
The holiday season is here! If you're hosting family and friends for the holidays, or just looking to get out and safely explore the city, the Dallas CityPASS is a great option for all. And if you're not comfortable getting out just yet, consider gifting yourself (or the ones you love) a CityPASS for future traveling plans.
Dallas Zoo Lights
Invite the family out to the Dallas Zoo for their annual Dallas Zoo Lights! This year, the zoo has reimagined the experience as a drive-thru so you can enjoy a holiday safari of lights from the comfort of your car.
There's also an option to pre-order holiday snacks and goodies for your ride which includes cookies, popcorn, a themed souvenir cup and lighted necklaces. At the end of the drive-thru, hop out to stroll through the Holiday Village for some fun photo ops.
The zoo is open for 36 select nights now through Jan. 3, and gates are open from 6-9:30 p.m.
Reunion Tower GeO-Deck
Take a trip 470 feet in the air at Reunion Tower for plenty of festive events to keep you and the family entertained. Bring the kiddos to visit with Santa's Elves and enjoy crafts and activities, happening every Saturday through Dec. 19. They're also hosting an acrylic pouring class to decorate holiday ornaments (Dec. 14), as well as an ugly sweater holiday dance party (Dec. 20), with social distancing in mind of course! See all of their events happening this season here.
Reunion Tower is open Monday-Thursday, 4 to 7:30 p.m., and Friday-Sunday, 1:30 to 9 p.m.
Perot Museum of Nature and Science
Plan a museum outing for yourself, or your family and friends to the Perot Museum. See the temporary exhibit inside the Gems and Minerals Hall, Nature's Art – The Mineral Beauty of China that showcases a collection of beautiful minerals from China. Also on view is the Dragon's Lair Gold – it's 63 pounds of gold and one of the largest finds to come out of Western Australia! Stop by the museum store before you head out for a souvenir or a last-minute Christmas gift, and enjoy an al fresco lunch stay by dining on the outdoor seating at the museum's café.
The museum is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Holiday hours will differ beginning Dec. 17; check their website for updates.
