Al Biernat’s North Debuts First Annual Whiskey and Culinary Event
Al Biernat’s is raising a glass to whiskey lovers with the launch of its First Annual Whiskey Event at Al Biernat’s North on Tuesday, October 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. This exclusive, one-night-only experience will showcase an extraordinary selection of premium whiskeys and bourbons from some of the most celebrated distilleries in the country, paired with thoughtfully crafted hors d’oeuvres from Al Biernat’s North’s Chef Luis Rodriguez.
Guests will sip and savor their way through eight tasting stations, featuring standout collections from whiskey partners, including:
• Sazerac/Buffalo Trace Distillery – Featuring Buffalo Trace, Blanton’s 93 Proof, Weller Special Reserve, Sazerac Rye 90 Proof, and Buffalo Trace Bourbon Cream with Root Beer.
• Michter’s Distillery – Featuring the “Core Four”: Small Batch Bourbon, Single Barrel Rye, Sour Mash, American Blend, plus Michter’s 10-Year Rye.
• Barrell Whiskey – Featuring Dovetail Whiskey, Seagrass Rye, and Gold Label Bourbon.
• High West Distillery – The Prisoner Share, Bourye, and their “Core Four”: Bourbon, Campfire, and Rendezvous Rye.
• Beam Suntory – Featuring Maker’s 46, Maker’s 46 Cask Strength, and Starhill Allocated Whiskey, with insights into the Private Barrel Select process.
• Yellow Rose Distilling – Featuring Premium American, Outlaw Bourbon, Rye, and Harris County Straight Bourbon.
• Widow Jane & Elijah Craig – Featuring Widow Jane, Baby Jane, Lucky 13, plus special Elijah Craig offerings.
• Garrison Brothers – Featuring The “Core Four”: Small Batch, Single Barrel, Honey Dew, and Balmorhea.
To complement the evening, Al Biernat’s culinary team will serve a variety of bourbon-inspired bites, including Bourbon-Cured Salmon Crostini, Lexington Chicken Sliders, Smoked Brisket Sliders with Bourbon Barbecue Sauce, Pimento Cheese Bites, Deviled Eggs, Kentucky Hot Brown Crostini, assorted cheeses, fresh fruit, mixed nuts, and an array of sweet-and-savory pretzels.
