FuturePresentPast
AURORA’s sixth biennial exhibition —FuturePresentPast—is set to take place on November 16, 2024 at Dallas City Hall and surrounding areas. Curated by Kendal Henry (New York City) and Leslie Moody Castro (Austin/Mexico City), this free public event explores North Texas' shared history, exploring topics of community, health advocacy, environmental sustainability, and the impact of displacement and migration on evolving cities in order to ignite new ideas about the future.
The AURORA Biennial—the largest free event of its kind in North America—is our signature exhibition of technology-driven public art and has been central to our arts organization over the last decade. Aligning with our mission, the biennial aims to inspire a more accessible future of art and technology by supporting the voices of today’s artists and connecting diverse communities through transformative public art experiences.
