“What’s in a name?” Shakespeare asked and followed with “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.” Performing in Sammons Cabaret is not just any “Rose.” Rosana’s voice is sweeter than any rose and you have probably heard the name of locally celebrated and internationally acclaimed Rosana Eckert. She is making her debut full-length Sammons Cabaret show with “I Like a Gershwin Tune… How About You?” This show will take you on a tour of the legendary George Gershwin’s greatest hits but will also acquaint you with a number of his lesser-known gems. Accompanying her on the piano is another local legend, the incomparable Brian Piper.
