Take a visit to the Pan-African Connection Bookstore in South Dallas. More than a bookstore, this art gallery and resource center specializes in books on the history, health, and forward movement of Black people. They also offer educational programming, wellness classes, and community conversations.
Le Freedman's Memorial Cemetery Le Freedman's Memorial Cemetery était un lieu de sépulture pour les premiers Afro-Américains de Dallas en 1861 et l'un des plus grands cimetières Freedman du pays. The African American Museum in Fair Park is devoted to the preservation and display of African American artistic, cultural, and historical materials. The current exhibitions are "Protecting Cultural Memory," offers visitors a rare behind-the-scenes perspective on the Museum’s ongoing commitment to preserving, conserving, and safeguarding the priceless art, artifacts, and archival materials entrusted to its care, and "Sunday Call to Church: The Art of Clementine Hunter," which invites visitors into the colorful world of one of America’s most admired self-taught folk artists.

Tour the Kimpton Pittman Hotel
Le Kimpton Pittman Hotel de Deep Ellum, construit en 1916 par l'architecte afro-américain William Sidney Pittman, a rouvert ses portes en 2020 et constitue un ajout bienvenu. Cet hôtel de quartier propose des œuvres d'art créatives dans tous ses étages, une terrasse extérieure où l'on peut écouter de la musique en direct et un excellent restaurant qui sert des plats américains de saison.
