Press On: A Coffee Collaboration in Support of Veterans
Truluck’s has teamed up with Katz Coffee and the PTSD Foundation of America to spread hope and healing. For every cup of French press coffee ($6.75) or Espresso Martini ($18) sold at any Truluck’s location, $1 will be donated to the PTSD Foundation, supporting veterans and their families living with the effects of combat-related post-traumatic stress.
This initiative launched on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2024, with no planned end date—Truluck’s lasting commitment to those who have given so much for our freedom. The program was inspired by longtime partner Katz Coffee, a Houston roaster and proud supporter of the Foundation’s Camp Hope, a housing and recovery program for veterans.
The Truluck’s beverage team collaborated with Katz Coffee to create an exclusive blend called “Press On.” Bold and full-bodied, it’s crafted for the French press—Truluck’s favorite way to brew, perfect for sharing and savoring over great conversation. For guests who prefer their coffee a little stronger, Truluck’s also offers a refined Espresso Martini featuring Katz Coffee’s custom espresso blend—an ideal pick-me-up at Happy Hour, pre-dinner, or with dessert.
At Truluck’s, sourcing with integrity means partnering with purveyors who share their values. Katz Coffee is a symbol of excellence in the Texas coffee scene, known for small-batch roasting, sustainable practices, and chef-loved flavor. As Katz Coffee says, “every sip stands for something.”
