Improv for Anxiety
At Stomping Ground, we believe laughter can make the tough stuff easier. That’s why we created Improv for Anxiety, a 7-week course where you’ll learn improv comedy alongside therapeutic tools for managing anxiety.
Led by a Licensed Professional Counselor and experienced improv instructors, this class helps you:
Explore and process anxiety triggers in a supportive, low-stakes environment
Play fun, light-hearted improv games while practicing emotional awareness and regulation
Connect with others who share similar experiences
Gain new skills in communication, confidence, and relationship-building
The course draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Biofeedback, Mindfulness, and Rapid Resolution Therapy, blending therapeutic techniques with the joy of improv.
You’ll laugh, you’ll learn, and you’ll leave with practical tools to manage anxiety and new improv skills to carry into everyday life.
