Fresh off their acclaimed collaboration IMAGINE, Uptown Players and Bruce Wood Dance reunite for TOGETHER, a bold new cabaret experience celebrating Pride through music, movement, and theatrical storytelling.
Blending live vocals with contemporary dance, TOGETHER traces the LGBTQ+ community’s journey from isolation to connection—transforming moments of vulnerability into expressions of strength, joy, and belonging. The evening is set to iconic anthems including Celine Dion’s “All By Myself” and Pat Benatar’s “We Belong,” reminding us that while one voice can inspire, it’s the harmony of many that creates lasting change.
The performance features evocative choreography by Bruce Wood and Joy Bollinger, alongside dynamic new works by Bruce Wood Dance company artists Weaver Rhodes, Elliott Trahan, Cole Vernon, and Megan Storey. Their expressive movement is woven seamlessly with powerhouse vocals by Uptown Players performers Peter DiCesare, Seth Paden, Lee Walter, Brett Warner, and Kylie Stewart, under the musical direction of Adam C. Wright and stage direction by Clayton Younkin.
