Dallas Pride is the centerpiece of LGBTQ+ celebrations in North Texas, and 2026 brought its biggest change in years: the festival is moving from Fair Park to the heart of downtown Dallas. On Saturday, June 6, 2026, the Festival of Rainbows spreads across four downtown parks — Main Street Garden Park, Pacific Plaza, Harwood Park, and Pegasus Plaza — followed by the city's first-ever Sunset Parade down Main Street from 7 to 9 p.m. Dallas is home to the sixth-largest LGBTQ+ community in the country, and Pride has been part of its calendar for more than 40 years, moving from its original September dates to June in 2019. The new downtown footprint puts the entire celebration within walking distance of DART rail, making it easier than ever to festival-hop between parks before the parade steps off.

Now marking its 45th year, Black Tie Dinner remains the nation's largest single-night LGBTQ+ fundraising dinner, held Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel. This year's theme, "Renaissance," continues a run that has drawn headliners from Maya Angelou to Cynthia Nixon and channeled tens of millions of dollars to LGBTQ+ organizations over the decades. Proceeds benefit up to 20 North Texas beneficiaries each year, plus the Human Rights Campaign Foundation as the dinner's standing national beneficiary. Pride in Dallas is entirely volunteer-run, and its signature parade rolls down Cedar Springs on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 2 p.m., presented by The Help Center for LGBT Health and Wellness. What started as a single parade has grown into a week of programming across Oak Lawn, including community and faith-based gatherings in the days leading up to the parade. House of DIFFA
Dallas' answer to the Met Gala, House of DIFFA is the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS' signature fundraiser, and it's grown into one of the city's most talked-about nights out. The 2026 edition, "Hotel Mystique," drew more than 1,000 guests to the Sheraton Dallas Hotel for its 34th annual runway show, complete with dozens of models, a live band, and a live and silent auction. Every year brings a new theme and an increasingly elaborate production, produced by a crew of more than 60. DIFFA Dallas is the organization's largest chapter nationwide, and House of DIFFA anchors a full calendar of the chapter's other events, including Burgers & Burgundy each fall and the Holiday Wreath Collection each winter.
Toast to Life
Resource Center calls Toast to Life its most vibrant night of the year, and the numbers back it up: now in its 28th year, the gala has raised more than $6 million to support the organization's HIV services, education, and advocacy work. Held each spring at The Empire Room, the party takes on a full theme and production each year — 2026's "Voyage Beneath the Sea" featured drag performer Brooke Lynn Hytes as emcee alongside live and silent auctions and immersive, sensory-driven décor. It's less formal than Black Tie Dinner or House of DIFFA, but no less of a draw, celebrating life, diversity, and inclusivity while funding programs that serve the LGBTQ+ community and people affected by HIV across North Texas.

Now in its 46th season, the Turtle Creek Chorale remains one of the most-recorded male choruses in the world, with more than 250 members performing a mainstage concert series at venues around the DFW metroplex, including the Meyerson Symphony Center and Moody Performance Hall. Some shows feature the full chorus, while others spotlight smaller ensembles. The group's annual holiday concerts remain among its most popular performances of the year.

Now in its third decade, Gaybingo is a Resource Center tradition held every third Saturday of the month, January through November, at Station 4 (S4) on Cedar Springs Road. Each night carries its own theme — think Prom Night or Summer Camp — and guests are encouraged to dress accordingly. Expect a drag queen host, plenty of laughs, and cash prizes for anyone who calls a confirmed "Gaybingo!"

Lambda Legal's annual Dallas dinner now lands in September rather than August, with the 2026 edition set for Saturday, September 26, at EBJ Union Station downtown. The evening celebrates the organization's decades of LGBTQ+ civil rights litigation — including the landmark case Lawrence v. Texas, argued out of Lambda Legal's Dallas-based Southwest Region office — with an open bar, a formal dinner, and a program honoring community leaders each year.
DIFFA Wreath Collection
The easiest way to deck your halls (or doorways) this holiday season: DIFFA Dallas' annual Wreath Collection, held each November at the Trade Mart at Dallas Market Center. The evening features dozens of one-of-a-kind wreaths and holiday art donated by North Texas designers, all auctioned off to benefit HIV/AIDS programs across the region.

You don't need to be part of the LGBTQ+ Bear community to get into this party — you just need a stuffed one. Held every December at the Echo Lounge & Music Hall, Teddy Bear Party kicks off the holiday season with an open bar, live DJ sets, and a dance floor, while collecting new teddy bears donated to hospitalized children and raising funds for LGBTQ+ organizations across North Texas. The 2026 party is set for Saturday, December 12.
Dallas LGBTQ+ Wedding Expo
If you're planning to get hitched in Dallas, the annual LGBTQ+ Wedding Expo brings together LGBTQ+-inclusive venues, photographers, planners, and other wedding professionals under one roof. The 2026 edition, its 19th annual, was held at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel in February.
Texas Bear Round-Up
Texas Bear Round-Up (TBRU) is a party for the self-proclaimed "Bear" community and one of the largest, longest-running bear events in the country, hosted by the Dallas Bears each March at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. The 2026 edition marked the event's 30th year, with a full weekend of mixers, a bear dance, and fundraising for local charities.
