Dallas Is Lit! is back for the fourth year in a row! Join us May 6-9th for this four-day celebration of literature and community. Featuring authors, community leaders, creatives, performers, and book lovers, this year's event lineup features a mix of returning favorites plus a few new additions, including our marquee Community Symposium Narrative Power & The Futures We Create.
Dallas Is Lit! shines light on all the ways we’re a literary city, from slam poets to literary organizations, from local bookstores to life-long Dallas writers. Anchored in the heart of the city — in Dallas' beautiful Oak Cliff neighborhood — the festival takes an expansive view of what is literary and who creates and participates in those experiences, offering activities for a variety of ages and interests, connecting writers, readers, makers and audiences through the power of language and the literary arts.
