Underground Comedy Show at Bourbon & Banter
Bourbon & Banter, the eclectic speakeasy at The Statler in downtown Dallas, is continuing its fan-favorite Underground Comedy Night series in August. On Wednesday, Aug. 27, guests can expect a night filled with sharp wit, nonstop laughs and expertly crafted cocktails.
The Underground Comedy Night will feature an incredible lineup of comedians, with Jimmy Nelson as the headliner. In his performances, he expertly switches between light and dark subject matter, never dropping his smile. When he’s not doing shows, Nelson co-hosts the Oddball History Podcast.
Also performing: East Texan comedian Angela Owen. Being the center of attention is something Owen discovered she loved at an early age, and on stage she delivers a joyful performance complete with her sassy opinions and irreverent reflections
Dallas-based comedian Gretchen Young will also take the stage with her witty remarks on her most recent terrible decisions. She’s just trying to live life in her 30s and do the best she can.
Opening the show is Henry Shroeder, a Virginia-born up-and-coming comic who performs across DFW and has opened for notable comics such as Adam Ray.
Garcetta Garci, aka G Baby, will host the evening, bringing her unique blend of Texas charm and social insight to the stage.
Tickets to the Underground Comedy Show are $15 plus taxes and fees, available at Eventbrite.
