Sunday Call to Church - The Art of Clementine Hunter - African American Museum, Dallas
The African American Museum invites guests December 5, 2025 - March 6, 2026 to the exhibition, Sunday Call to Church: The Art of Clementine Hunter. This exhibit highlights Hunter’s gift for transforming ordinary experiences into powerful visual history. Through her lens we see , simple moments of worship gatherings, baptisms along the river, cotton harvests, all sacred acts of resilience and identity. This is a rare opportunity to experience the heart and heritage of African American culture through the brushstrokes of a woman who painted her story so the world would remember.

The African American Museum in Fair Park presents Protecting Cultural Memory: A Commitment to the Conservation and Protection of the Art and Archives, an exhibit focused on the preservation of historical archives and treasured works of art from September 17, 2025 – March 2026.
