Pegasus Contemporary Ballet partners with The Writer’s Garret to bring the celebrated poetry program, the Common Language Project, into the world of dance.
Four Dallas choreographers will present commissioned original works, each distinct in voice yet united by the Common Language Project’s 2026 theme and 30 assigned words. The Pegasus dancers and artistic leadership translated each of the 30 words into a movement that the choreographers are required to use at least once in their work.
This bold commission ignites the idea of attaining one vision through individual creativity. Experience an evening that uplifts local talent, sparks creative dialogue, and shows how dance can become a common language for us all.
