Ballet Folkorico

Anita N. Martinez started the Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico (ANMBF) as a way to educate youth on the significance of their culture through the performing arts. The main focus of the organization is to instill a sense of cultural pride and self-worth through the study of traditional dance forms of Mexico. Since 2004, it has been a resident company of the AT&T Performing Arts Center and perform various shows throughout the year. They also offer beginner and intermediate classes for those interested in learning folklorico dance.


Bishop Arts Theatre Center

The Bishop Arts Theatre Center (BATC) is an award-winning, multicultural theatre company whose mission is to cultivate a diverse and vibrant arts community while creating opportunities for local and emerging artists through performances and education. BATC hosts a theatre, jazz and speaker series year-round.


Bruce Wood Dance

Originally a Fort Worth resident company, Bruce Wood Dance relaunched in in Dallas in 2011 to champion the vision of nationally acclaimed artistic director and choreographer, Bruce Wood. The award winning dance company perform various shows throughout the year showcasing high-caliber, original, contemporary choreography.

Dallas Black Dance Theatre

Dallas Black Dance Theatre is an internationally recognized professional dance company that engages the cross-cultural community through contemporary modern dance presented from the African American experience. Founded in 1976, DBDT is the oldest dance company in Dallas and a resident company of the AT&T Performing Arts Center, located in the Dallas Arts District.


Dallas Summer Musicals

Dallas Summer Musicals (DSM) begin in 1941 and has a long history of providing live theater performances since its inception. DSM has developed several outreach and educational initiatives that strive to impact the lives of children and families and enrich the cultural landscape of the community. Today, DSM presents and promotes live musical theatre bringing the best of Broadway year-round.


Dallas Symphony Orchestra

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) presents the finest in orchestral music at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, regarded as one of the world's premier concert halls. As the largest performing arts organization in the Southwest, the DSO is committed to inspiring the broadest possible audience with distinctive classical performances, inventive pops concerts and educational programs.



Known as an arts incubator for small performing arts groups, Sammons Center for the Arts is the home for 14 arts organizations representing every performing arts discipline. The space was developed for aspiring artists to hold rehearsals and workshops. The center is also home to resident art groups like The Women's Chorus of Dallas and the African American Repertory Theater.  



Founded in 1961, Texas Ballet Theater is a internationally recognized company bringing world-class ballet, from classical to cutting-edge. As a resident ballet company at the Winspear Opera House, you can catch a performance from September to May as part of their yearly season.
