1. Be Amazed at Cirque du Soleil: Kurios
See the latest circus show phenomenon now through March 26. The show, taking stage at Lone Star Park just minutes from Downtown Dallas, takes you on a journey about an inventor who defies the laws of time, space and dimension in order to reinvent everything around him. 2. Fan Expo Dallas
Mark your calendar for this year's Fan Expo Dallas, March 31-April 2 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas. Enjoy the largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming event in Texas at this family-friendly event. And bring your autograph book – several special guests will make an appearance including Stan Lee, Meat Loaf, Willa Holland and so many more.
3. See something new at the DMA
Check out Mexico 1900-1950, a new exhibit of 50 years of Mexican modern art, making its first and only U.S. stop at the Dallas Museum of Art. The exhibit runs March 12-July 16 and will include more than 200 works, including works by Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, and other giants of the first half of the 20th century.
4. Go Green at the annual St. Patrick's Parade and Festival
Dallas goes Irish every year with the largest St. Patrick's Parade in the Southwest. More than 125,000 people come to the parade and enjoy a day of festivities along Greenville Avenue. Start the day early with the annual parade along Greenville Avenue before making your way to the famous block party and check our blog on tips for a great outing.
5. Have a foodie night at the Arboretum Food and Wine Festival
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden's first food and wine festival is March 16, so come sample wines and enjoy tasty bites from some of Dallas' best chefs, surrounded by natural beauty. The festival is taking place during the annual Dallas Blooms, another must-see festival happening in March (see below for details!)
6. Savor some brews at Big Texas Beer Fest
Make plans to visit Fair Park for Dallas' original beer festival. Enjoy over 500 exclusive and rare craft beers, as well as live music and yummy cuisine from the food trucks on the scene. The festival runs March 31-April 1, so get your tickets soon because this event will sell out.
7. Get Groovy at Dallas Blooms
Dallas Blooms, the largest floral festival in the Southwest, returns Feb. 2-April 9 at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden with "Peace, Love and Flower Power," as this year's theme. Dallas Blooms feature tulips, daffodils, Dutch Iris and hyacinths, pansies, violas, poppies and thousands of other spring-blooming annuals and perennials. The finale of this spring celebration is the mass flowering of the garden's collection of 3,000 azaleas that bloom during the end of April.
8. Cheer on your favorites at NCAA Women's Final Four
We're counting down the days until the start of the NCAA Women's Final Four Weekend! The teams will battle it out on March 31 and April 2, with Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland taking the stage on Saturday, April 1 for a show stopping performance.
9. See a Musical
Catch a show this spring with Dallas Summer Musicals at Fair Park. Get tickets to Let It Be, a story that celebrates the music of The Beatles, running through March 19, or see Kinky Boots March 28-April 9. This show, inspired by a true story, is about a struggling shoe factory owner working to turn his business around. Get ready to sing and dance along to these must-see musicals.
10. Catch a game
