The Texas heat is no joke! We've got just the cure to keep you cool all summer long.
1. The Joule
You've heard of living on the edge, but how about swimming on the edge? The Joule features a unique, glass pool that hangs over the top of the hotel, giving you incredible views of Dallas and The Eye sculpture across the street. While you're there, check out the spa for ultimate relaxation before you leave. The pool is only open to hotel guests.
2. Omni Dallas
Catch some of the best views of the city at the infinity pool at the Omni. Take a dip in the pool or relax in the heated jacuzzi, while enjoying your favorite drink from the outdoor bar. And check out the fourth floor pool deck to hang out in the cabanas. The pool is only open to hotel guests.
Feel like Phelps at the Olympic-sized, rooftop pool at the Fairmont. There's also kiddie pool, dive-in movie nights and live music on Saturdays. If you're not a guest of the hotel, no problem! The Fairmont offers a resort day pass for access to the pool and poolside food and drink service, so come for a swim and order a quick bite to eat and a refreshing cocktail to keep you cool in the heat.
For a kid-friendly option, visit Jade Waters at the Hilton Anatole. This resort-style pool is a new addition to the hotel and it has everything you need and more. Relax in the lazy river or go for the 180-foot slides, then grab lunch at the Grill & Bar after your swim. The pool is open until Labor Day weekend, leaving you plenty of time to plan a visit. The pool is only open to hotel guests.
Feel like luxury at the Ritz-Carlton and enjoy their spacious outdoor pool area for a relaxing swim. Grab lunch at Fearing Restaurant to stay fueled and treat yourself to a massage of your choice at the beautiful, indoor spa. Be sure to stay late for the only-in-Dallas guacamologist experience that happens every night. The pool is only open to hotel guests.
Enjoy a quiet and laid-back feel at the Renaissance pool. Bring your favorite book and enjoy pure serenity while you're there. For lunch, stop in the hotel restaurant, Asador, that cooks up modern American eats with a Latin flair. The pool is only open to hotel guests.
Go for a shopping spree at the Galleria, before settling down outside at the pool. Order a drink and some snacks from the poolside service and relax in the cabanas to recover from a long day of retail therapy. The pool is only open to hotel guests.
Take a dip in one of the coolest rooftop pools in Dallas at the NYLO. Grab a few drinks at the neighboring bar, along with some light bites, and hang out pool side as you overlook the best view of the city. Although the pool is only open to hotel guests, the bar is always open to the public starting at 3 p.m.
9. The Statler
Bring your friends to the historic and newly re-opened Statler Hotel. The pool is located on the 19th floor near the rooftop bar and lounge, Waterproof. Waterproof is open to the pubic every day of the week beginning at noon, so get here early before the crowds, or you can reserve your spot (highly recommended) by calling ahead.
10. The Adolphus
The iconic Adolphus hotel is a beauty from the inside out, including its rooftop pool, with private cabanas and a full-service bar. The hotel is hosting its first ever Sundown on Seven pool party series, every Friday night starting June 8 through Labor Day featuring a DJ, drink specials and more. The party is open to the public and admission is free.
