See the fireworks

Ring in 2019 watching the Dallas skyline illuminate with a brilliant display of fireworks. Starting at 11:59 p.m. sharp, a 360-degree, panoramic firework spectacular will erupt from Reunion Tower. Get out early to scope out a good watch spot along the Trinity River or join a watch party in the city.

Party into the New Year

Start the new year off right by hitting the city and attending one of the many lively parties taking place across Dallas. Break out your finest black-tie attire and impress at 2019 Champagne Life: Royalty at the Castle at the Old Red Museum, featuring a red-carpet entry, a masquerade contest and much more. Festivities begin at 8 p.m.

There are also plenty of opportunities to celebrate and mingle at some of Dallas' luxurious hotels. Toast to a new year at Hotel ZaZa's NYE Soiree, or step into the historic ballroom at The Statler for their Black and White New Year's Eve Party for an unforgettable night. Both celebrations promise live entertainment, party favors, hors d'oeuvres and free champagne with a ticket purchase. For a chance to party with the Emerald City Band, hop over to Rock the '19 at the Hilton Anatole for a night of incredible music.

Enjoy a New Year's Eve show

End 2018 on a high note by taking in some of the local entertainment. Delight your senses with the sounds of New Year's Eve: Meyerson 'til Midnight from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the Meyerson Symphony Center. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. with extended festivities including a bar, desserts and more music following at 9:30 p.m.

If you're looking for something less formal, laugh away 2018 with a special New Year's Eve dinner with Four Day Weekend, a local improv comedy troupe in Lower Greenville. The show starts at 8 p.m. with a cocktail style dinner and champagne included.
