Shakespeare Dallas announces it will premier Pride and Prejudice for its second annual Winter Season performance in January 2020. The performance will be staged at Moody Performance Hall and marks the company's full-production indoor program for its 49th season.
The production of Pride and Prejudice is based on the novel by Jane Austen and is adapted for the stage by Jon Jory. The indoor performance will be guest directed by Christie Vela. The performances will run January 10th-11th and 15th-18th at 8 p.m., along with two matinee performances on Jan. 12th and 19th at 2 p.m.
There will also be two student matinee performances available during the run. Shakespeare Dallas' Winter Season is designed with a smaller cast in mind, making the performances more intimate for audiences. Ticket costs range from $25-$35, depending on the performance day. Discounts are available for students, seniors and groups.
