Cochon555, the annual culinary tour which visits cities across the country promoting local heritage breed farming and the chefs who are dedicated to highlighting these ingredients in their restaurants, will return to Dallas as Carryout with Cochon this April. Chef Lance McWhorter of Culture ETX and winner of Dallas Cochon555 2020, will lead a 45-minute live Zoom demonstrating how to make a featured dish from his multi-course dinner with participants following along in their own homes. The virtual and interactive event will continue the COCHON555 tradition of supporting local heritage breed pigs and the innovative ways chefs feature them in their restaurant menus. Participants will be able to pick up their meal and beverage kits at the chef's restaurant on the day of the event. The kits ($95 for one; $175 for two) will include ingredients to make one dish during the event as well as the remaining courses, which will be fully pre-prepared, ready to heat and serve.
