Nuestro Oak Cliff

Next: Tomorrow 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Latino Cultural Center

In partnership with the Latino Cultural Center, the Dallas Mexican American Historical League presents the photography exhibit Nuestro Oak Cliff,  illustrating the neighborhood's transition throughout its history. From its predominantly white residents in the 1910s to 1950s. Oak Cliff began to transition during the 1950s-60s as Mexican Americans, African Americans and Native Americans moved in. White flight and school desegregation further changed Oak Cliff.  Today, Oak Cliff is transitioning again as gentrification takes root.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm.
