Name: Dallas Arboretum's A Tasteful Place Ribbon Cutting Date: Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10 a.m. Location: Dallas Arboretum, 8525 Garland Rd., Dallas, TX 75218 Details: The Dallas Arboretum hosts a grand opening and ribbon cutting of A Tasteful Place (ATP), a garden for all seasons and senses, inspired by the movement toward garden-to-table dining, sustainability and healthier lifestyles. Majestically placed overlooking White Rock Lake and downtown Dallas, the verdant 2.2-acre garden is woven in a beautiful tapestry of ornamentally displayed fresh fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers. A Tasteful Place is the first of its kind in the Metroplex and will fill a much-needed void in the community. The garden was developed as a living, learning, growing experience that will help guide people toward understanding how to prepare foods and eat more healthily. By invitation only More information: http://www.dallasarboretum.org/named-gardens-features/a-tasteful-place
