Is there a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than giving back to the community? Join Friends of Hope for a sporty day of sand volleyball, team prizes, and enticing raffle packages. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and we'll start play at 1 p.m. You don't have to be good at volleyball to play, just be prepared to get a little sandy and have fun at Sandbar Cantina & Grill in Deep Ellum. It's $40 for an individual player (through April 27) and $350 for a team of 8 to 10 -- T-shirts included! The tournament raises money to support Hope Cottage Pregnancy and Adoption Center in finding loving, adoptive homes for children.
