The State Fair of Texas is hosting it's first-ever Big Tex Barn Dance Social, and this is one Texas two-step you won't want to miss. Just a few days before the Fair, the Big Tex Barn Dance Social will be a celebration with beer and wine, Fair snacks, and you guessed it – dancing! No barn dance would be complete without some country music. Get ready to two-step to the toe-tapping sounds of Eleven Hundred Springs, a country music band from Dallas and Frankie Leonie, a singer-songwriter out of Denton, Texas. All proceeds go to the Big Tex Youth Livestock Auction & Scholarship Program. The event will be held in the State Fair of Texas Livestock Judging Pavilion, located in Fair Park behind the Briscoe Carpenter Livestock Center and next to the Fair Park Coliseum. Getting to the Livestock Judging Pavilion is easy and parking is free. For more information, parking directions, and to purchase your tickets, visit BigTex.com/BarnDance.
