It was an OK zoo, every stand was closed as expected (due to COVID) the animals looked well cared and they have decent stuff at the gift shop. Not expensive.
Our world-class, 106-acre Dallas Zoo is the largest in Texas and features many rare and endangered species. Don't miss the award-winning Giants of the Savanna, the only habitat in the U.S. where elephants mingle alongside giraffes, zebra and other African species.
We're home to more than 2,000 animals, and today, the Zoo is thriving with new exhibits such as the Koala Walkabout presented by Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Wonders of the Wild presented by Kimberly-Clark Corporation, and the Giants of the Savanna to name a few. Key exhibits include the Tiger Habitat, Lacerte Family Children's Zoo, with interactive, educational exhibits for children, Don Glendenning Penguin Cove and the Jake L. Hamon Gorilla Conservation Research Center.
