As summer turns to autumn and temps begin to dip a little, September in Dallas brings colorful food and art, community events and, of course, the State Fair of Texas!   • Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 - Oct. 15) with authentic flavors of Mexico at Xaman Cafe on Jefferson Boulevard in Oak Cliff. Football, Festivities and Fair Fun

  • It wouldn't be fall without football! The Dallas Cowboys kick off their 2025 season against the Eagles on Thursday, Sept. 4th but return for their first home game of the regular season vs. the New York Giants on Sunday, Sept. 14th at AT&T Stadium.   • Beginning Sept. 20, the Dallas Arboretum brings in 100,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash to celebrate Autumn at the Arboretum. Now in its 20th year, Your kids are sure to love the theme this year: ¡Mundo México! Displays will feature reimaginings of seven iconic regions of Mexico, along with themed pumpkin houses that make up the acclaimed Pumpkin Village, and of course, a maze for younger visitors.

Fall Pride
