Docent Steak & Lounge slated to open Fall of 2025, is the newest concept from Dallas-based Harwood Hospitality Group. This Lounge is set to blend a unique blend of Japanese inspiration with the timeless appeal of a classic steakhouse in the Harwood building. The two-story restaurant will feature Texas-sized cuts like a 40 oz. long bone cowboy ribeye, paired with an impressive lineup of seafood and delectable inventive dishes. Inside, the dining room doubles as a gallery, showcasing nearly 100 pieces from The Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection—the only museum in the U.S. dedicated to samurai art and armor, and one of the largest in the world.

Ruang Tango

Tango Room may not be the newest addition to the scene, but it has quickly earned a reputation as one of Dallas’s hottest and trendiest dining destinations. Nestled in the Dallas Design District, this low-profile spot was originally designed as a private supper club, with no sign out front and just 60 seats. Caviar shines on the starter menu, transforming dishes like Chicken & Caviar and Deviled Eggs into elegant, decadent plates.

Little Ruby’s

Little Ruby’s is bringing its laid-back Australian charm from New York City to Dallas this fall at 23Springs. Known for its all-day café vibes, Little Ruby’s serves everything from classics like Vegemite toast to hearty burgers, fresh pastas, and vibrant salads. The Dallas location, set in a 3,000-square-foot space overlooking the park, marks the first Little Ruby’s outside of New York, expanding as another concept under the Wish You Were Here Group founded by Australian native Nick Mathers.

Urban Italia

Winter 2025

Urban Italia is coming soon to Dallas’ Victory Park, bringing a lively taste of Italy to the neighborhood, promising bold flavors rooted in Italian tradition. The 5,500-square- foot space will seat 250 guests inside or on the patio, occupying the former WFAA studio. This new concept is led by award-winning Chef Carla Pellegrino, who is known for her acclaimed New York and Las Vegas restaurants like Baldoria and Rao’s Las Vegas. The menu highlights handcrafted pizzas, fresh pastas, and creamy Aquerello risottos, all made with high-quality ingredients that reflect Italy’s diverse regions.
