Tiny Gallery Trail – Opening Art Exhibit with Art Bike Parade
Tiny Gallery Trail – Opening Art Exhibit with Art Bike Parade
April 25, 2026 | 4–8 PM
Join us for Tiny Gallery Trail – Opening Event, a vibrant outdoor art experience in the heart of Elmwood in Oak Cliff. Five custom-built art boxes line a one-mile trail, hosting a rotating exhibition by local and regional artists. This inaugural show, “Elmwood!,” invites you to see our neighborhood through five fresh, evocative perspectives inspired by the place we call home.
At 4:00 PM, kick off festivities at the Tiny Gallery Trail event hub in the outdoor beer garden at Oak Cliff Brewing Co. Come and go as you please as you start the trail, savor local brews, Tiny Trail Tacos by Cactus, and live music by Kirk Holloway. The trail is open all evening, so you can stroll, bike, or ride at your own pace. Decorated Art Carts (golf carts), provided by local businesses, Cenzos and Little Joy, will provide rides for those who would like to ride or have accessibility needs. Meet some of the featured artists at stops along the trail from 4:30-6:30 PM.
Elmwood! Exhibit
Our opening show, Elmwood!, offers a window into our neighborhood through the work of five talented and established Elmwood-based artists. Their work explores sources of inspiration, rooted identities, nostalgic reflections, and neighborhood personalities that shape the community.
The artists presenting in this year’s Elmwood! are:
Tina Medina
Elizabeth Mellott
Pascale Pryor
Karla Garcia
Angela Faz
Curator: Holly P. Smith
Art Bike Parade
Be part of the parade magic at 4:30 PM along the trail. Dust off your creativity, decorate your bike, and compete for the “Best on Trail” prize. Whether you’re a casual rider or a seasoned cyclist, all bicycles and all ages are welcome.
Kid-friendly activities along the trail
Along with the five artist stops, Pegasus Tattoo and Wellness will host a kid-friendly station where children can design their own stencil tattoo and a pop-up gallery, El Refugio, will present Entre Comadres, curated by Jose Villanueva. Jose’s gallery will be open all day April 25 and an artist will be on hand to lead craft activities for kids. El Refugio: 1426 Ferndale Ave.
Come celebrate art, creativity, and the Elmwood neighborhood with us!
