July 19, from 11:30 am to 1 pm, live music and painting will bloom midday at Bonton Farms. Dynamic musician Eric Willis will serenade guests with gospel-inspired jazz while visual artist LaShonda Cooks interprets their notes in real-time with paint. The resulting creation will be raffled off at the end of the performance.

The July concert is the second of a monthly series pairing live music from different genres with live painting at the South Dallas farm: The Jazz on Canvas series is sponsored by the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture and free for the public.
