Christopher Holt returns to The Kessler, where he brought Across the Milky Way to life with a 9-piece band he dubbed The Kitchen Sink, for a special presentation of Don’t Give Up on Luck, the film that captured that night.
Through film, a live solo performance, and conversation with Jeffrey Liles, Christopher revisits the songs, the making of Across the Milky Way, the unforgettable Kessler show, and the story behind reconnecting with that magic feeling of making music on his own terms.

Christopher Holt is a Dallas-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist whose career spans more than three decades. A prolific recording artist and longtime fixture of the Dallas music community, Holt has released an extensive catalog of original music while also building a career performing and recording alongside some of rock’s most celebrated artists. His latest album, Across the Milky Way, reflects a lifetime spent chasing songs, sounds, and the belief that the next great record might still be ahead.
