The Woman in Black follows Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who is sent to a small, isolated town to handle the affairs of a deceased woman. While staying at her remote house, he begins to experience strange and unsettling events, including sightings of a mysterious woman dressed in black. As he investigates further, he discovers that her presence is connected to a tragic past that continues to affect the town.
The story unfolds as Kipps tries to make sense of what he experienced, revealing a haunting that is both emotional and terrifying, with consequences that stay with him long after he leaves.
