This holiday season, Bishop Street Ballet returns to the historic Texas Theatre to present The Nightmare Before Nutcracker, an imaginative gothic twist on Tchaikovsky’s timeless classic—performed live with the acclaimed Austin-based band The Invincible Czars.

Known for their inventive live film scores and cult-favorite Halloween tours, The Invincible Czars bring their signature mix of rock, classical, and cinematic sounds to Bishop Street Ballet’s whimsical world.

Following the performance, the Texas Theatre will host a special screening of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. This one-night event merges live ballet, rock symphony, and cult cinema into a hauntingly beautiful holiday tradition.
